Terms & conditions

• Entry is open to UK residents excluding employees of the BGL Group, third parties involved in this promotion and their families.
• Entry to the draw is from the 1st November to the 30th November 2008 and is automatic when taking out a policy with Bennetts. Alternatively, for free entry into the draw, send your name and address to Marketing, Bennetts, Pegasus House, Bakewell Road, Orton Southgate, Peterborough, PE2 6YS. Entries submitted in any other manner will not be accepted and only one entry per person is permitted.
• Entrants must be at least 18 years of age.
• Entries from third parties will not be accepted.
• No alternative prize will be offered however the promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for one of equal value. The prize is not transferable.
• There is 1 prize to give away. Entries received between the 1st November and the 30th November will be placed into a draw on the 2nd December 2008. A winner will be drawn at random. Entries will not be accepted after midnight on 30th November 2008
• The prize consists of a refund of your insurance premium for your current Bennetts policy up to the value of £500 and a payment of £1,450 representing an allowance for tax (up to the value of £50), tyres (up to the value of £200), service (up to the value of £200) and a petrol allowance up to £1,000. No other expenses will be paid. The allowance is based on the costs incurred by an average rider as at June 2008, any expenses incurred over the allowance of £1,450 will be the responsibility of the winner. The refund of the winner's policy will be paid provided that the policy has not been cancelled or voided for any reason within 30 days from the start of the policy. The refund and the allowance will be both be paid within 30 days from the date of the prize draw by cheque made payable to the policyholder. The refund of the policy will not include any add on products such as breakdown cover or Motor Legal Protection. Any subsequent amendments/changes to the policy after the refund is paid are not included and must be paid for. Any administration/cancellation fees are not included.
• If the winner has purchased the insurance policy by way of monthly instalments, they will be refunded the amount of payments made to date (excluding any instalment charges) and the remainder of the instalment plan will be paid in full by Bennetts directly to the credit provider, subject to the maximum amount of £500. Any amount over £500 will need to be paid by the winner as normal.
• If the winner does not hold a current Bennetts policy they will receive a free Bennetts insurance policy up to the value of £500. Add on products such as breakdown cover or Motor Legal Protection are not included. Any subsequent amendments/changes to the policy are not included and must be paid for. Any administration/cancellation fees are not included. The insurance is not transferable and is subject to the risk being acceptable to the Bennetts panel of underwriters. • Proof of posting or sending an entry is not proof of receipt. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for incomplete entries or entries not properly completed or received due to technical, communication or other problems.
• The winners will be notified by telephone or email within seven days of the promotion ending, and then by post.
• The decision of the Promoter in all matters is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
• Send a stamped, self-addressed envelope to the address shown below between 2nd December and 31st December 2008 for details of the winners' names and counties.
• The winners may be required to take part in reasonable publicity resulting from the promotion, including the publication of their name, geographic location and photograph.
• Entering the promotion signifies the entrant's consent to these terms and conditions.
